Research use policy

What research use only means

Every product sold by Marogen Bio is a research material, not a finished drug, supplement, food or cosmetic. We supply reference standards and research formulations for laboratory and analytical use: method development, chromatography calibration, and other non-clinical research. Nothing we sell is intended for diagnosis, treatment, cure or prevention of disease, for use in or on the human or animal body, for compounding, or for any food, drug, cosmetic or dietary supplement use in any jurisdiction.

Who may order

We sell to laboratories, research institutions, universities, and biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies, as well as individual researchers who are 21 years of age or older and purchasing for a legitimate research purpose. We do not sell for personal, household or human or animal administration use, regardless of how an order is described.

The attestation every buyer makes at checkout

Before completing an order, every buyer affirmatively attests that:

• They are 21 years of age or older.
• The material will be used solely for in vitro laboratory research, analytical testing or other qualified research purposes.
• It will not be introduced into a human or animal body in any manner.
• It will not be resold, repackaged or compounded as a drug, supplement, food or cosmetic.
• They understand Marogen Bio makes no representation of safety or efficacy for any use outside a controlled research setting.

Prohibited uses

• Any human or animal administration, by any route.
• Compounding into a finished drug, supplement, food or cosmetic product.
• Resale to consumers for personal use.
• Any use inconsistent with applicable law in the buyer's jurisdiction.
• Misrepresentation of the attestation above.

Our right to refuse orders

Marogen Bio reserves the right to refuse, cancel or limit any order, to request documentation confirming a research or institutional affiliation, and to decline service to any buyer or address at our discretion, including after an order has been placed and before it has shipped.
