How a lot moves through the facility
Synthesis and lyophilization
Every lot is synthesized and lyophilized in La Jolla, California, to a stable powder for storage and shipping.
Lot numbering
Each lot is assigned a lot number as it is produced. That number is printed on the vial label and carried through every record for the material.
Third-party testing
A sample from the lot is sent to Freedom Diagnostics, an independent lab, for purity by HPLC-UV, identity by LC-MS, and net content.
Certificate and release
Results come back tied to the lot number. The certificate is published to that lot's page before the lot is offered for sale.
Cold chain and storage
Nasal sprays are held and shipped at 2 to 8 °C. Lyophilized powders are stored dry, as a stable powder, until they are reconstituted by the end user for research use.
Dispatch
Orders ship from California, typically within 1 to 2 business days of the order being placed.
What we publish for every lot
Every lot's certificate, published to that lot's page, carries:
- The lot number, matching the vial label
- Identity, confirmed by LC-MS
- Purity, measured by HPLC-UV
- Net content for that lot
- The date testing was reported and the lot was released
